Surprise cut/trade?

Alot of times when new regimes take over, theres a player who is cut or traded that gets the attention of the fans. Recently in 2009 Super Bowl champ Bernard Pollard was cut.

Who is a guy you could see the Dorsey/Reid regime cutting that would surprise you?

Just going off those numbers... Cassel, Jackson, and Breaston would be the most likely... so of those three Breaston might be the biggest "surprise". I actually think he would benefit from Reid and a new QB, and we would benefit from keeping him. No idea what happened with him last year to get in the dog house... but Bowe, Baldwin, Breaston, and McCluster all have some potential to do some special things with a coach who actually knows offense.

Really all the non obvious picks are already free agents... who knows.

Terrance Copper or Stanzi maybe... I don't think any starter under contract will be released.

Micheal Boley was cut from the Giants.. That could be an interesting name to look at for the Chiefs. He and DJ could pair up nicely in the middle of this defense.

Jackson will be cut I think. But wouldn't call that a surprise. Hard to tell.

I'd like to see Jackson reworked personally... or cut him then resign him later when he sees what the market is. I actually think he will end up being successful.

I would say Dorsey but he's a free agent. I would say Lilja but he retired. Cassel should be a lock to go. Jackson is 50/50 on returning. I'd say Reid gives Breaston a chance. If Breaston gets cut, itll be in preseason.

I think Jackson stays. He is very solid in the run game and he has improved his pass rush.. I would at least like to see him play out his contract or re work his contract for less money.

Im not against keeping Jackson. I think it would really hurt us losing both of our DEs in the same offseason. We really do need him to restructure though. If resigning Bowe means cutting Jackson then we better do it.

We have to rework Jackson. We can't give him 10 million this year!

Man I can't wait till FA starts. Want to see how this starts to play out.
