| Per @JasonColeYahoo on @560WQAM, #Dolphins are potentially negotiating a deal for #Chiefs stud WR Dwayne Bowe. | |

| Better be at least a 1st rounder coming our way...A 1st and a 3rd...Anything less and it would be a terrible deal for us... | |

I can report this: Bowe wants out of KC very badly. Not exactly a revelation, but true.

| Love it if it happens. Hope we can get Geno with the #1 pick then use those other picks we get for Bowe to move up and get Teo | |

| Report: Dwayne Bowe wants out of Kansas City “very badly”
Posted by Josh Alper on October 17, 2012, 7:42 PM EDT
Getty Images The Chiefs and wide receiver Dwayne Bowe weren’t able to come to agreement on a long-term deal this offseason, leaving Bowe to play out the year under the franchise tag before taking another whack at an extension.
Or not. Jason Cole of Yahoo! Sports reports that Bowe wants out of Kansas City “very badly.” With the Chiefs sputtering and headed toward an offseason of changes if that doesn’t change, that could make him a trade target before the trade deadline. When coming up with teams that might be interested, the Dolphins would be near the top of the list.
We already know that they are targeting a No. 1 receiver in the offseason and they have a slew of early draft picks thanks to the Brandon Marshall and Vontae Davis trades, so someone connected the dots enough for Cole to get asked during a radio interview about the potential of a deal. There were some reports that Cole said the two sides are talking, something he clarified via tweet. Cole said he had no information about talks as yet between the two sides, but called Bowe a “logical target” for Miami.
Whether in the next few weeks or come the offseason, there figures to be a fair amount of talk about Bowe and the Dolphins.

| We don't need our best WR since we don't have a QB! | |

Not gonna sign him long term anyway so might as well do it. especially if its true multiple teams are gonna be bidding.

| If its true more than 1 team is trying to make a move for him the offer might be much better | |

| This honestly disgusts me. The initial thought was that Pioli would choose either Bowe or Carr to sign long term. He franchised Bowe, let Carr walk. We then assumed Bowe would get his huge deal...and he didnt. After we started off the season 0-3 I pretty much figured it would come to this. All I have to say is we better land at the very least a 1st for him. The Dolphins will likely be in the middle of the draft..and we will have a top 5 pick. If we can land 2 1st round picks, dump Cassel, and have Pioli back the fuck off of everything, it could be an attractive place for a new HC assuming we fire Crennel. | |

| Maybe its Breaston the Dolphins are trying to trade for. I think they could franchise Bowe again if he doesn't want to come back, and we plan on drafting a QB this year. | |

Use the number 1 pick on Geno and the pick we get for Bowe on Teo

| A lot of NFL scouts weren't sold on Geno even before the Tech game. They say hes talented, but most of his success is because of how good his WR's are. I still want him though. Another rumor is a lot of scouts see Barkley as a second round talent. | |

At this point I am open to anything. As long as we finally fix the QB situation. And we can build from there.

| Will be an interesting offseason. If this team really is bad enough to get the #1 pick I dont see how Hunt can let his GM hire his 3rd coach in 2 years. At the same time I dont see him firing him. Bowe obviously doesnt want to be here so I say get what you can for him and start the rebuild over. | |

| Im still not completely sold on Geno all the way. People compare him to RGIII but they really dont play similar at all. I really think Tyler Wilson is the safest bet for us at QB to be a productive franchise QB. He's the only reason the team is having any sort of success. Theyre 3-4 with Wilson but without him I'd be willing to bet theyre a 1 win team at best.
Seriously the team has played like shit all season long and Wilson continues to put up numbers that are hella impressive. He continues to complete 60+% of his passes, he's averaging just short of 10 YPA which is plain awesome. 14 TDs and 5 INTs and almost 2000 yards already this season even after missing a game and a half.
Another thing when I look at his stats..he plays his best ball in the 1st quarter. He's completing nearly 75% of his passes in the 1st quarter. Thats something, with our awesome run game, we could really use. If Wilson can get us a lead right off the bat, we can run the clock the rest of the game with Jamaal and whoever. Thats what we need.
He's our safest bet to be a franchise QB...and we wont pick him.
