Bray vs Stanzi

OK, not really, but check out what went down at the Kansas City Chiefs Wednesday OTA:

Some quick notes after today's Chiefs practice: Bray was 3rd QB, ahead of Stanzi, for 1st time. May mean nothing in bigger picture . . .

Chiefs OTAs QBs: Bray got 3rd team snaps today over Stanzi. Daniel had some great passes but mishandled several snaps/handoffs.

Tyler Bray, the Chiefs 2013 undrafted free agent, over Ricky Stanzi, the Chiefs 2011 fifth round pick. This is the first day that has happened, according to the reports. We do not know if this is the only day that will happen, if this is a sign that Bray is progressing ahead of Stanzi ... or what. We don't know.

There will be plenty of speculation but to this point we really don't know what Andy Reid and the new coaching staff thinks of Stanzi. We know what previous coaching staffs thought of Stanzi but perhaps it's different with Reid.

The Chiefs don't have to make any decisions until cuts start coming down in training camp. I suspect they won't make a decision until then either.

Bray is far ahead of Stanzi physically. It shouldn't be hard to beat him out. Neither should see the field this year either way.. But it's best for the future if Bray just takes over the three.

Stanzi might as well pack his shit b/c he doesn't have a chance. Not to mention Stanzi is the former regimes so that part should make him an easy cut.

He will likely stay through camp, but unless Bray becomes a big locker room cancer he's gone.

I think Bray wins this battle. But kinda hate to see Stanzi go. Feel like the kid never got a fair shake. Still can't believe he never got a shot last season.

Bray is more impressive than Daniel and Stanzi so far... Stanzi will be the odd man out.

Bray has been looking good. He's even making the right kind of reads which was part of the reason he didn't get drafted.
