#1 pick

Read this morning we have an 86% chance of having the first overall pick for the first time in franchise history. Odds are Geno is the pick.

Isn't Geno mocked to go like 8th at the highest?

They could trade down and still get him. Hopefully that is what happens. It will be a QB no matter what though which is stupid with this class. If Pioli is still here it will be Jantz.

I honestly wont be shocked if Tyler Wilson jumps Geno in the months leading up to the draft. Im actually hoping for it.

Sounds like scouts like Wilson more than Smith... but who knows.

Theres a lot of busts that get mocked #1... real strange that no QB's are projected to go that high. Has that ever happened?

Last draft I remember off the top of my head was 2008..Alot of people thought Matt Ryan would go in the 5-10 range. Ended up going 3 to Atlanta. We probably woulda drafted him had they not.

Geno is going to be the pick if KC cant trade out of the pick. People are just going to have to be patient and not expect a turnaround like Indy or Washington because Geno isnt even close to Luck or RG3. This will take a couple of years after wasting 4 with this idiot GM we have now.

We really cant afford to trade down unless were going to settle for Wilson. I guarentee Jacksonville is looking at Geno too. Geno is gonna go 1 or 2 unless Wilson somehow hops Geno before the draft which is a possibility.

I really dont see a reason why Geno and Wilson cant have Luck or RGIII like seasons though. I mean look at our situation compared to Indys and Washingtons. Indy is still a talented team, working with the remains of the Peyton Manning days. Decent receivers, decent defense. Certainly Luck is impressive as shit, but he didnt walk into a team with absolutely no talent. Same with RGIII. Shanahan set up his run friendly offense, brought in Garcon from Indy, has Hankerson and Moss as targets and RGIII succeeded.

Then look at us. We have one of the top rushers in the NFL in Jamaal Charles working with one of the worst offensive coordinators ive seen. Moeaki is a decent receiving TE and really started to come on late this year. Kevin Boss will be back. If Bowe comes back and our next coach decides to play Breaston assuming he's here, were gonna be set on offense.

I certainly think we have as much talent as Washington or Indy, its just the one position they both upgraded made the difference.

Retaining Bowe, Albert, and keeping and getting Breaston involved is going to be crucial for us. Our next GM and HC need to address alot of issues as soon as they come in. They cant sit on their ass and go right to the draft.

Breaston is terrible. not being able to get on the field with the group of WRs we have is pathetic.

Its not Breaston..its our idiotic coaching staff. If anything, im betting Breaston spoke up about how unhappy he was with the offensive playcalling and was told to not dress out the rest of the year. Breaston was a 60 catch guy last season. He's a solid #2. He's still young. We just need a coaching staff that knows what the fuck theyre doing.

yeah I can't see Breaston being a solid #2 for us last year and all of a sudden being terrible this year. I think him being a Haley guy and probably calling out the shitty assed playcalling is what landed him inactive this season.

I think there was just something that happened between Breaston and Crennel.

I'm just looking at the facts and not assuming shit. Terrible WRs are getting playing time over him. You can assume any reason you want to justify your side of the story. The only fact we know is he hasnt been any good.

He was a 1000 yard receiver in Arizona. He had a good year last year with more shit QB play. Those are facts.

Your assuming he isnt any good because he's been ruled inactive for reasons that are obviously not football related.

Obviously? Didnt know there were ppl with serious inside Chiefs info on this site. I guess if under 800 yds and 2 TDs is worth 28 mil then yes he has been great here. He was paid to be our #2 and now isnt even #5.

Breaston wasn't bad at all here last year. If he had a better QB he would have done even better.

I am hoping we dont take smith. Trading down of even trading for a QB sounds good right now.

The leadership on this team has been downright brutal, in the last couple of years...All the dumb drama and what not...Seems to me the lightning rod for this BS is Pioli and his ego...

He and the rest of the coaching staff have to be overhauled before the draft..

Would be a great christmas present if they were all fired 1st thing tomorrow morning.

I know everybody already knows this but its nice to see it somewhere. Almost official that we are the worst NFL team in the league. One of the worst in history IMO.

Glad we have the pick in a shit year to have it. Just like when we had the #3 pick.

Who cares if he isnt exactly an RGIII or Luck. Do you not believe he is a guy we can build this franchise around?

I may wind up being wrong on this one. I didnt like the idea of Matt Ryan coming out either and was glad when we didnt get him. Turns out he is okay. You rthink he will be great I think he will be bust. No sense in arguing back and forth for the next 3 years. I think Wilson or Bray have just as much upside and can be had later by trading down. Many think this Glennon kid will be good but cant say I watched a lot of him. Things will change with senior bowls, workouts, and combines. As of now I dont like drafting any QB #1 this year. Maybe come draft time I will be back where I was early on in the season.
