Another Tebow thread....

Please please please tell me you guys arent buying this shit? Look I have nothing against the guy. He's a great person and all that, but the credit he is getting for these Denver wins is completely RIDICULOUS. ESPN and NFL Network are constantly talking about this guy! WHY?!? He has what 4 4th Quarter comebacks? Alright, well who has he played? Nobody? He's played 1 legit team in Detroit and got the crap smoked out of him. Good QBs dont play like dogshit for 3 quarters and have 1 good quarter. Good QBs also have completion %'s higher than 48. Yes, he manages to put together 1-2 good drives in the 4th quarter when the defences are in prevent or whatever.

BUT WAIT! The DEFENSE!

Against Miami - Helped get the ball back in OT. Offense managed to get into position for a GW field goal.

Against Oakland - Oakland played like crap overall. Tebow and defense both had good games.

Against KC - If you watched, you know. Any decent team wins this game.

Against New York - Jets offense didnt score a single point. Thank the defense.

Against San Diego - Defense played very well again. Tebow did not. Chargers suck. Broncos win.

Against Chicago - Defense forces Marion Barber out of bounds. Made Chicago punt the same possession. Chicagos defense goes to shit. Denvers defense makes Barber fumble in overtime.. Damn right? And give Matt Praytor some credit too. 2 monster FGs.

Tebow will get lit up against the Patriots..The only way Denver wins is if the defense plays lights out, and I dont see that happening.

My rant. Shoot and fire.

I actually think that Tebow will have a good game THROWING the ball against the Patriots.. And so what if the defense keeps it close for him? He WINS. thats all there is to it. 7-1 as a starter this season.. Not too shabby. There is just something about him that makes the people around him play harder. He is a great leader, not a great quarterback, no.. But it works.

I think they will beat the Patriots on Sunday.

Okay.. So all the wins they got were only because of the defense, but when he loses a game where the Pats put up over 40 points its his fault? Seems logical. I agree, he didnt do enough today, but no one ever said he was going to light up the score board. He threw for 200 and ran for 100 and 2 TDs. What else can you really ask for?? He isnt a great QB by any means so he isnt gonna win a shoot out with the likes of Tom Brady.

Thats too bad. He can't carry the team the one time they can't carry him.
