| Its been established for awhile now that the team has completely given up. The is the most talented team we have had in Pioli's tenure, but no one wants to play for Cassel anymore. | |

| They didnt play with Cassel last week. Youd think the effort would have been better to try to keep Quinn in | |

| He wasn't as bad as the stats. The team is just a mess with a first year OC and a HC/DC taking on more than he can chew. Pioli probably has Daballs balls in a vice not wanting Quinn to succeed, just like they set Croyle up to fail his start in Cassels absence first year.
Pioli's ego wants Cassel to succeed and the rest of the team has given up on that. Players knew Quinn should have/would have won a true QB competition, but he wasn't given the chance.
This can be a good team, and will be once the atmosphere changes.

| The only way the atmosphere changes is if the GM is fired at years end. Piolis ego and need for complete control over every single thing is just going to suddenly vanish. Pioli is the reason we got Cassel in the first place and also the reason real coaches are turning KC down. Not to mention the reason Manning wouldnt even come for a visit. At least he visited the other teams with serious interest. | |

| This team easily has 10 win talent..the coaching and front office is a wreck though. Its sucked the confidence out of this team, as has Cassel. With Kyle Orton as QB, we are easily 3-3 or 4-2. | |

| Will that man be Pioli or will Crennel be another fall guy? That's the question. | |

| I really think Todd Haley would have been a hell of a head coach if he and Pioli would have gotten along. In 2010 Haley had his guys playing with a fire and passion we havent seen since. Rumors were Pioli almost canned Haley after the playoff loss to Baltimore which is completely ridiculous. Had Haley been given at least a little bit of choice on the players he got to work with, we would have been back to back AFC West champs, Hasselbeck at the worst would be our QB, Charlie Weis would possibly still be here and Crennel would remain at DC where he's most effective.
Thing is after 2010, Haley realized how powerless he was with Pioli at GM, he stopped giving a shit. The players picked up on it and stopped giving a shit too, especially after the injuries.

Firing Crennel wont fix shit That's what I am saying. I completely agree. Hunt needs to blow it up and start the rebuild over with a new front office and coaching staff. Grab our QBOTF and go from there. With the right people and some of the talent already here it wouldn't take long to be contenders again.

| The Chiefs could be a good team right now if we had Haley, Weis, and Crennel. Especially if Weis had Hasselback, Orton, or Quinn to work with. | |

Or being with a GM that pursued and brought Peyton to KC.
