| I have been very negative about our 1st pick this year but have also acknowledged I could wind up being wrong about Poe. I just didnt like it at 11. But if I do wind up being wrong and Poe is dominant early I think those sack numbers for Hali and Houston are low. Hali could make a run at the sack record. If Cassel could somehow get hurt or pulled early I'm all in on a SB run this year. | |

| The way Baldwin has been looking in OTA's so far, you might be completely wrong about him too. And thats even with Cassel throwing to him. | |

| I just read through all that, and yeah none of that would surprise me one bit. Honestly I think our secondary will be better than previous years, and thats not including the big improvement I'm expecting from the DL and in turn LB's on top of that. | |

I've always said Baldwins talent is there. I dont like the fact he has always been a locker room cancer and a bitch. His talent is a small part of the reason I hope they dont sign Bowe long term. If Baldwin lives up to is talent level they dont have to gamble big money long term on a guy with no heart. Just tag him again and work out a trade.

| Lol how is Baldwin a cancer? Bowe's worse than he is, and Bowe isn't even that bad anymore. | |

| I donthave to go over him constantly calling out coaches and teammates in college and shouldnt need to remind anyone of him picking a fight with one of the most respected guys in the league and getting his ass on the dl | |

| I really don't remember what exactly happened in college, all I remember what actually happened was not nearly as bad as the media made it out to be. As for college, yeah its one incident in training camp. It happens. You act like hes TO or Randy Moss. But whats wrong with calling out your teammates? If they are sucking I'd call them out to get them to work harder too. | |

| You dont call them out in the media like he did. calling them out in the locker room with no cameras is one thing but to do it on tv is another. | |

| If Baldwin was a a hall of famer like Randy or TO I'd take it. I'd take 4 Moss or TO on this team right now. especially since many players have come out and said that both are good teammates. How many came out and defended Baldwin after Jones beat his ass? Baldwin has been a cancer since his mother gave birth to him. But I know he has the potential to be top 5 in the league if he ever gets his head on straight. I dont care if he is an alleged murderer like R. Lewis if he plays well on the field. | |

| You're a bigger cancer than Baldwin is. There's at least one small scuffle on about every team every year, its part of training camp. Hell Bill Billechich has even paid players to start a fight in camp. The young pup picked on the big dog and got bit, its life. Has went nearly a whole entire year with zero problems. Steve Breaston was talking up Baldwin and where his head is, I'm sure it was posted on here somewhere and I'll trust his opinion on Baldwin over yours. The only downside Baldwin had coming out of college was his numbers, and thats only because he was on a bad offense with a bad QB. | |

| The lengths some people go to to hate Pioli and specific players. I've heard nothing but good things about Baldwin this year. | |

| Me either, he is dominating in OTA's. Yeah he had a bad start last year. But sounds like he wants to make up for it. | |

| Its part of maturing. A majority of these hotshots that are high picks coming into the league think theyre hot shit. Baldwins learned his lesson. Thomas Jones kicking his ass was probably the best thing for him. Nobody ever kicked Randy Moss' or T.O's ass..so they were never really put in their place like Baldwin was. | |

Good point and I can agree with that. He has a great opportunity this season to shine.

| And Breaston is going to come out publicly and say Baldwin is a headcase. I dont think so. They are going to say what people want to hear. It's called PR. I dont doubt Baldwins ability. I've said he is top 5 talent in the entire league if his head is screwed on right. So I hope it is so we dont have to worry about giving Bowe 60 mil then quitting. But as far as listening to players and coaches speak it is stupid. No player or coach is going to come out and publicly say he is still screwed up. Hopefully the kid matures this year. If he does he is better than Bowe anyway. He has C. Johnson/ L. Fitz potential. | |

| If himself, Bowe, Breaston, McCluster, and Wylie are playing at a high level at the same time we are going to be in very good shape. I also think Junior Hemingway is going to be a very solid posession reciever for us down the road. Fuck we are stacked on offense!! | |

Most of the good things you hear is from people outside of the organization. Reporters, fans at ota's and so forth. We will just have to wait and see.

| I think Hemingway with some time will be a sure handed jumbo package reciever and could be a decent Split End. The guy will probably weight like 230. He had great hands in college. | |
