An interesting article is coming out of ESPN.com this morning. Sal Paolantonio has an in-depth explanation as to why the Eagles need a defensive playmaker and why Eric Berry might be the choice.

According to Paolantonio, citing "multiple league sources", the Eagles are indeed looking to move into the top ten to make a run at Berry. Paolantonio suggests the Chiefs as the best trade partner (as did we).

However, there's some concern that the Eagles wouldn't want to part with the 37th overall pick, which would most definitely have to be part of any deal that gets them into the top ten. One AFC executive told Paolantonio there is "no way" he would give up the 37th pick.

The value of those early second round picks has risen because there's now a 20-hour break between rounds one and two. That gives folks time to go home, reset their draft boards and think about must-have players that slipped out of the first round.

The second option, as Paolantonio explains, is trading with the Dolphins, who are so eager to trade down they've had at least two conversations with teams about that in the last 48 hours.

The third option is staying in the 20s and selecting the top cornerback available.

I've said for a while that the Eagles probably present the best trade down option for the Chiefs. At 24th and 37th, there are no crippling financial obligations and with a rebuilding team two players is always better than one.

U get a shot at an Elite Player and now your going to trade down. Just draft him!

We have allot of holes to fill. We would benefit by tradig with the Eagles and getting two more picks from them, 24, 37, and another pick in the 5th or 6th round if possible. Our draft could look great:

5- Tony Moeaki - TE

This would be freakin awesome if Tate fell this far, We might have to take him in the first though.

I'd go with

1 Mike Iuapati - G
2.Golden Tate - WR
2.Terrance Cody - NT
2 Nate Allen - FS
3 Dekoda Washington - OLB
4. Jimmy Graham - TE
5. Tony Pike - QB
5. Marcus Easley - WR
5. Eric Olsen - C

Spoon is what 235? i dont see him as a ILB. I bet dollars to dognuts that Cody goes in the 1st. i think i read that 8 teams picking in the 20s run the 3-4.

If we trade down with the Eagles we should take Taylor Mays. We get a safety who is going to end up being better than Berry in the NFL, plus we get another great player in the second.

I dont want to move down to where Philly's at unless Clausen is gone and KC is 100% confident they can land Nate Allen in the 2nd
