Can't believe Wilson isn't a top 5 QB. Heard he is a 3rd round prospect now.

Well the draft is wide open right now...

I knew Albert would be back, but I didn't expect Winston to be cut.... Do we draft a "LT" Number 1 and play in at RT for a year? Or do we play Albert at RT for a year?

I'm still hoping we don't go with the OL #1, but might be the biggest hole now. We now have Alex Smith and Chase Daniel... adding Geno would still be great IMO and we wouldn't have to play him until hes ready.

Miller was a nice choice, until we added Sean Smith...

Basically it comes down to drafting a RT or a DE... I still think Geno has a slim chance though... Reid loves him some QB's and Geno looked good at his Pro Day. Completed like 42 of 46 passes or something like that?

True, but I really doubt Ogletree or Te'o get drafted #1 overall. We'd really have to trade down if we want to draft one in the first. I personally would LOVE Jake Knott or AJ Klein in the middle-late draft. At least as a backup if we manage to find a LB somewhere else.

Floyed, Richardson, or Star(whats the scoop on this guy again?) could be options now that Dorsey is gone. Unless they think DeVito is our starter.

Our BIGGEST holes are RT and ILB though. DE would probably be third.

After Geno's Pro Day, Mayock is now calling Geno a Top 10 talent. I would still take him.

I just don't like picking a guy 1st overall and having that pick ride the bench, but I read that the Chiefs are now looking at OT Geoff Schwartz in FA..

Arrowhead Pride ‏@ArrowheadPride

Chiefs expected to sign an OT per @adamschefter. Clearly, this means we should overreact about No. 1 pick http://sbn.to/10Q0b00

Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter

Chiefs staying busy, visiting today with Vikings free-agent OT Geoff Schwartz, whom they are expected to sign.

If this is the case, is Joekel out, as well???

They want to fill all needs in free agency, and take the BPA throughout the draft. I'm starting to think Geno might happen. Smith gets to lead us to the playoffs for a year or two before we trade him and Geno takes over. If Smith gets hurt we can play Chase and do the same thing. Geno has the talent to be great, he made scouts gasp at his pro day and nailing throws 40 yards out with great accuracy.

Game play and combine are a different thing...

He shit the bed in the Pinstripe Bowl..I tuned in especially to watch him and he didn't really impress me all that much...He didn't look good under pressure and throwing outside the pocket..

42 TD's, 6 INT's and over 70% of your passes in a downfield offense is impressive no matter how you spin it. He also looked good his sophomore year in a Pro Style offense. Sure he needs coached up, but he has one if the best coaching staffs imaginable to do that. He has Smith and Daniel to compete and make him better.

He will learn a lot on the bench for a year or two, and those "weaknesses" will be gone just like with Rodgers.

Their whole bowl game was a joke. It was snowing and windy also I believe..but regardless Geno still tossed for almost 200 yards and 2 TDs.

When it comes down to it, he's absolutely got the skill set and has the right attitude you want in a QBOTF.

We have a great rushing attack with Charles, great mentors with Alex/Chase, and an excellent coach in Andy Reid. Not to mention their OC Doug Pederson was a former QB himself. This is absolutely the best situation a QB like Geno could walk into. If he learns like he says he wants to and works hard like he says he will, he will become one of the better QBs in the game.

I have no problem with kid..He may be a good prospect, but do we use the 1st overall pick on a project? Remember, Rodgers was a late 1st rounder..Apples to oranges..

Rodgers was expected to be a top 10 pick as well though. Teams didnt like the offense Rodgers was coming out of..just like Geno. Nearly every criticism Rodgers had are similar to what they say about Geno. At this point we have no real holes to fill besides ILB next to DJ and theres nobody even remotely worth the #1 pick at that position. So yes, I think we can use the 1st overall pick on a project.

Most of the time the team with the #1 overall pick has many holes. This team just completely underachieved this season. Honestly were probably the most talented team with the 1st overall pick in a long long time.

So you wouldn't draft Rodgers number one is what you're saying? We have no holes, and there are no elite prospects. We are in a luxury position, take the guy who gives you the most upside.
