USF S Nate Allen Is Visiting The Chiefs Today

If you see a 6'1", 207 pound safety walking around Kansas City today make sure you say hello.

Yes, South Florida S Nate Allen is visiting the Chiefs today, according to the Ft. Myers News-Press.

Nate Allen flew to Kansas City, Mo., Monday afternoon and will work out for the Chiefs today. He will leave this evening for New York City and meet with the Jets on Tuesday.

Nate Allen will fly to Tampa on Wednesday night, work out for the Buccaneers on Thursday morning and then return to Fort Myers on Friday.

Allen said he's speaking with about 10 teams, including the Browns.
Allen is projected as a second round pick.

What's interesting about his other meetings is that the Jets and Bucs may have a shot at him. The Jets are picking 29th and the Bucs 35th so if the Chiefs wanted to snag him with their first second round pick, he'd have to fall past those two.

If you follow the SB Nation mock draft, then you know I think he's an option with the Chiefs first second round pick.

It we don't get Berry in the first, and Mays is gone in the second I'm assuming.. this would be my next choice.

Yea... Nate Allen is the guy I want if we dont get Berry in the first.

pretty much..Im not high on Earl Thomas at all

Yeah I don't think we need a CB in the first.. hes not even as good of a prospect and Huff was coming out of Texas.
