I will cum in my pants if we get Mays in the second round. Especially if we get McClain in the first round.. and making it all even sweeter if we trade down a few slots with the Browns to get McClain while picking up another draft pick.

With the Redskins getting McNabb today there is a real chance of us getting to trade down. Assuming teams really are high on Clausen.

The Chances of us trading down with the Browns who want Berry were already real.

And the chances of the Chiefs landing Jimmy Clausen continue to improve.

Exactly..and if somehow both Berry and Clausen are there at 5..Cleveland trades up for Berry..we can still land Clausen at 7 unless somebody trades up with Seattle

Its just flat out sad if you have a top 5 pick three years in a row, no answer at QB, and you don't draft one.

Even if we cant trade down and get another pick, just getting Clausen makes this draft a win.

I think that if we trade down anywhere in front of the Bills at 9 Clausen will still be available.

I don't see Clausen as a Gailey type QB.. But I guess he can probably do well with any type.

Thats just the only logical place I can see him going besides here... Unless of course people buy into Pete Carrol saying he is still looking for QBs.. Then people may want to trade with us to get Clausen.

I don't think the Seahawks draft Clausen after just making that trade for a QB.

Well according to most Chiefs fans they are tied to him for a hell of a lot longer than one season since they traded for him, see Matt Cassel.

From what I've heard the chiefs can actually get off the hook fairly cheap with Cassel after this season.

Yeah his contract was set up to dispose of him after just a few years.

People see the contract and just assume that Clausen wont be the pick and that Cassel is really our franchise guy
