| If no CBA is reached then players cannot be traded, only draft picks. So which direction do you think the Chiefs go if one isnt reached? I think this really puts BPA in play no matter which position it is. The more I see this Hankerson kid the more I like him. He has been working with Duper to better his game this past year. Just watched a lot of his you tube stuff, workouts with duper and highlights. I think he is the second best WR behind Green in this draft. Seems like he might have grown up a little over the past year or so after not realizing his potential at first at Miami. As much as I'd like O-line or OLB in rnd 1 I could see Pioli making this pick. | |

| BPA at a position of need. Plain and simple. I've stated many times I'd love one of those WR's.. but if theres a better LB, NT, or one of those great OL that can sometimes be had in that range... you take it. | |

| Have you looked at Hankerson online Rust? I agree with you about LB. They say Kerrigan has a tremendous motor. If he is there I take him. | |

| Hankerson might end up going late late first to early second after that senior bowl... especially if he has a good combine too. | |

| Kerrigan wouldn't be bad... but I'd rather have a more athletic OLB opposite Hali... we can't have both of them be pure pass rushers. Don't get me wrong we do need one who can also get pressure... but it needs to be someone more rounded. | |

I agree with you there. Hali is a DE turned OLB. The Chiefs need a more rounded and athletic OLB opposite him. That crosses alot of players off the list of potential first rounders including Kerrigan and Cameron Jordan. Akeem Ayers and Justin Houston would be my preferences at OLB. WR is deep enough this year to wait until at least the second round. That means that Senior Bowl standout NT Phil Taylor should be in consideration.

| I really wouldnt mind any of the OLB's there. there are quite a few this year. Anybody heard of Brooks Reed? they were talking about him on the radio a few days ago as a great middle round pick up. At 262 lbs I would guess he would be olb in our system. I would like to be able to trade down a few spots and pick up more picks. I coul see the Bills at 34 or Cardinals at 38 wanting to move up to grab Mallett ahead of Seattle. I could see a number of players that the Chiefs might like at 21 still being there at 34 or 38 like Houston, Powe, Hankerson, Wiesnewski. | |

| I like OLB Ayers out of UCLA...Nice blend of athleticism and tackling ability..Not holding my breath that he drops, though..
Another guy is OTs Castonzo (BC) and Tyron Smith[USC] (who needs to add a little weight, but colud be a good above average RT, IMO)
If WR is the way to go..Baldwin (PITT) or Jones (Bama)..I would like a field stretcher to compliment Bowe's possession ability, but we really need to upgrade the WR2 position..
NT we can get in round 2..Phil Taylor?

| Taylor wont be there when we pick in 2. I wouldnt bitch about Ayers or Tyron Smith. I'd rather Hankerson over Baldwin. Jones wont be there. If for some reason he falls it is a no brainer. I'd still rather trade down with the bills or Cardinals. | |

| Castonzo was struggling at RT during the Senior Bowl... and he wont be able to handle speed or power rushers in the NFL. Hes not an upgrade over Albert or Richardson(when hes on his game and his head is in the right place). | |

All good points, but the talent is there..I am not saying he should play LT, but at RT he may be successful..

| The best RT in this class is Carimi from Wisconsin. The man is huge and a mauler in the run game. | |

| Carimi is the best run support guy, but I think Sherrod is best all around | |

All good points, but the talent is there..I am not saying he should play LT, but at RT he may be successful.. He struggles even more at RT... at least he was at the Sr. bowl.

| Hankerson, Houston, Wisnewski, Odowd, Phil taylor. one of those guys will be the 21 pick. I just read some deal on the AP mock RB Ingram to us at 21. How fucking stupid can someone be? There is no way in hell they take a 1st round RB after they gave Charles 35 mil. | |

| I don't think Ingram is worth a 1st rounder regardless. There's no way the Chiefs take a center in the first round, especially when O'dowd was dominated by Phil Taylor at the Senior Bowl practices. | |

| I think I've seen mocks with us getting Taylor in the third... I can't see him falling that far at all though. | |
