Chiefs must be looking good right now

Today's final practice cancelled
Coach Todd Haley, apparently satisfied with the work the Chiefs were able to get done in their off-season practices and last weekend's mini-camp, called off the workout scheduled for today. The Chiefs have no more off-season practices scheduled.

That means the next time the Chiefs take the field together, it will be on July 30 at Missouri Western State in St. Joesph, the new site of training camp.

It's nice to see Coach rewarding everyone's hard work. Hopefully they'll give that much more effort this year during games!

I don't know about rewarding the boys with days off just yet, especially with the coaching changes and youth/experience factor. Not a real big deal given the time of year, but this may rival Bowe's slip of the tongue as the most disappointing headline of the offseason to date,

I think its good that they are feeling like the team is all on the same page and working hard and doing everything right. Getting a reward like this from a hard coach like Haley says a lot. Plus theres only so much you can learn when your not wearing pads anyways.

I agree with rust on this one. Not much you can do without the pads and if they are looking good now, then its a big improvement from last year at this time.

they had the best turn out in the league this offseason. Canceling the last practice was a worthy treat.
