According to Scouts Inc.'s Matt Williamson, Chiefs DE Tyson Jackson was "just all-around awful" as a rookie last year.

The defensive line was the biggest weakness on a defense full of holes last season, and Jackson was a primary culprit. Though he was expected to take time to develop as he switched from defensive tackle at LSU, Jackson was also widely seen as a reach at No. 3 overall last year.

I think he means to say the first seven weeks. He also fails to mention its normal for DL to be all around shitty until their third year.

Idk about you guys..but I didnt expect Tyson Jackson to come in and be a pro-bowl DE his first year..he def. improved as the season went along

He was good enough to make the all rookie team. Thats not an easy feat for DL.

Tyson Jackson will be allot better this year. Our DL will be much better.

He has allot left to learn. DL in the NFL is very tough to grasp, I think he is coming along just fine.

Jackson just needs to show improvement, Dorsey is the one who needs to take the big leap. Even though he's not playing in his natural position, he should be in near pro bowl form by now. If neither of these happen, LSU will be forever taken off our draft board!
